Application was lovely. The consistency is fluid and light with an ideal viscosity for painting, nice even flow over the nail and excellent self-leveling properties. Pigmentation is very good. I achieved completely opaque coverage and full rich color in two coats. Cleanup is easy and straightforward with no trace of staining left behind. Pour Me Another dries naturally in very good time to a glossy finish. Sweet! Topcoat does not impede the holographic display in any way.
Photos show two coats of Pour Me Another over Seche Rebuild treatment and Pretty Serious All Your Base basecoat with a topcoat of Glisten and Glow HK Girl. We have heavily overcast skies here today so I wasn't able to take any direct sun photos, but the holographic flair shows up strongly even in indirect light.

I'm quite pleased with this dark magenta holo! The color is full, vivid and flattering year round, and it has a lovely user-friendly formula that makes application a pleasure. The prismatic display is athletic and lively in indirect light, which is my favorite characteristic of holo behavior generally. I love the prevalence of the violet in the prismatic flair, it ties in nicely with the base color and pops the orange and red that appear next to it. I'm sure Pour Me Another will be super rainbowy in direct sun, but I'll have to wait for another day to see it.
love,
Liz
This is gorgeous! Then again it's hard for a holo not to be. This particular color reminds me a lot of Lynbdesigns Nightmare Revisited, which I have. They look like they're in the same color family. I think you captured the holo nicely even without direct sunlight.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Melissa! I looked up Nightmare Revisited and you're right, they're both strong linear holos in fuchsia/magenta. I think everyone needs a holo in this color, it's so pretty and flattering to wear!
