Application was a delight. Isla is one of those polishes that you just love to watch as it goes on. The consistency was liquid with just enough density to allow for good control. Isla self-levels beautifully but will run if you swipe a cuticle as I of course did. The shimmer is fully incorporated into the formula and shows no brushstrokes. In fact, I found Isla to be one of the most forgiving shimmer polishes I've ever come across. Pigmentation is excellent with opacity in one coat and full match to bottle color in two.
Isla dries naturally in average time to a smooth finish. Topcoat takes the nuances of the color and the shimmer and amps them up from beautiful to breathtaking. Photos show two coats of Isla over treatment and basecoat with a topcoat of Seche Vite.

I have to say, this is one extremely photogenic polish. I don't think it knows how to take a bad picture. And it's like that on the nail too, just perfect looking from all angles and downright spectacular when light hits it. It has a glow that is visible even in low light.
Isla is stunning in a way that makes you want to trap it and keep it in a little treasure box where you can peek at it anytime you want to, the kind of stunning that you couldn't help but run after if you saw it on the street. An irresistible kind of stunning.
Who knew I would love red polish so much? Lately I can't get enough of it!
