Application was great! This is a user-friendly formula that is easy to manipulate with Picture Polish's flattened flexible brush. The consistency is fluid, light and creamy with a smooth flow over the nail and very good self-leveling properties. Pigmentation is also very good with evenly opaque coverage in two coats. Cleanup is easy and straightforward with a little bit of pigment travel but no residual staining. Allure dries naturally in very good time to a smooth shiny finish.
Photos show two coats of Allure over treatment and basecoat with a topcoat of Seche Vite.

Allure is similar in color to Picture Polish's Mad Magenta, from their Bright/Urban line of colors. Allure is ever-so-slightly deeper and cooler in tone, ie more purple, and is complemented by the scattered holographic flecks. I think they add to the playful aspect of this color and contribute visual interest to the polish without taking away from its sophistication. If you'd like to see a side-by-side comparison of Allure and Mad Magenta, the Finnish blog Wasting Lifestyle has just such a photo in her review of Allure, here.
love,
