Described as a bright hot pink holo with a purple flash, to my eye Vivian + Edward is not quite as fluorescent as bright pink/hot pink. It's more substantial, a little deeper and a little rosier but just as intense, kind of like a Mexican pink with hot pink overtones, very lush and effusive. It is also powerfully holographic, displaying nuanced hues of glowing translucent violet, misty China pink, Baker-Miller pink and rose in ambient light with a gleaming semi-metallic underlay of bright pink. In direct sun, there's a glorious linear holographic flare predominated by slender sparkling arcs in violet, indigo blue and bright red interspersed with mixed prismatic sparkle that frame a central lick of silvery Mexican pink and shade to rosy magenta at the sidewalls of the nail.
Application was fabulous. The consistency of Vivian + Edward is fluid, creamy and dense with a medium viscosity and a silky, self-leveling slip over the nail, a wonderful, user-friendly formula that is a pleasure to work with. Pigmentation is excellent, delivering wearable opacity in a single medium coat, although I think a second does enrich the color a tad. Cleanup is straightforward with a tiny bit of pigment travel but little to no trace staining. Vivian and Edward dries naturally in good time to a smooth, shiny finish. Topcoat does not in any way inhibit the holographic effects.
Photos show two coats of Vivian + Edward over treatment and basecoat with a topcoat of Seche Vite.

Fierce!
If you like pink, and I know not everybody does, this is an awesome pink holo. If you LOVE pink, I would go as far as to say that it's a must-have if it were still available. Alas, I no longer see it listed at Llarowe. But I reckon that those who have been into pink holos for a while may already have a bottle. You may be able to find it in blog and destash sales or on storenvy, if not. If you see, grab it! It's fantastic!
love,
Liz
