Application was a pleasure. The consistency of I Want My Scars to Show is fluid, smooth and dense with a medium viscosity and a lush, velvety, self-leveling glide over the nail that has a tiny bit of pull to it, very easy to control with LPL's flattened flexible brush. Pigmentation is excellent, with wearably opaque coverage in one medium coat, although I think the color is denser and more intense after a second. Cleanup is straightforward, with some pigment travel as you might expect and a tiny bit of residual staining to especially dry areas. I Want My Scars to Show dries naturally in very good time to a smooth, shiny finish. Topcoat does not inhibit the holographic properties in any way.
Photos show two coats of I Want My Scars to Show over treatment and basecoat with a topcoat of Seche Vite.

I will never tire of red holos like this. Every year around Christmas, when there's a general proliferation of these polishes, my purchasing of them kicks into overdrive and by the time February and Valentine's Day get here I find myself shepherding a slew of red holos through my swatching chute. I've been trying to kind of space them out this year and you'd think I'd reach a saturation point somewhere along the line, but every time I try a new one I get that particularly ecstatic little zing of transcendence that always seems to accompany the brilliance, energy, drama and pure visual splendor of a red holographic polish.
And so it is with I Want My Scars to Show, an utterly stunning red holo that unfortunately is no longer listed in Karen's shop. I don't know whether she'll be restocking it, but if she does, grab it! You can never have too many transcendent moments in this life.
love,
Liz
