Officially described as a neon green linear holo, the color here is less strident and much more graceful that what I generally think of for neon. It is, in fact, a perfect lime green, bright, radiant, fresh and energetic. Abundant finely-milled holographic pigment dimensionalizes the look with shimmering hues of green-yellow, spring bud, pear and glimmers of pale robin's egg blue in ambient light, and creates a gleaming semi-metallic underlay of golden chartreuse yellow. We are overcast and rainy here today, but I imagine that in direct sun would generate a sparkling, analogously-hued linear holographic display featuring a brilliant arc of bright spring green edged with sparks of orange.
Application was fantastic. The consistency of Electric Lime is fluid, light and creamy with a medium viscosity and a effortless, buttery, self-leveling glide over the nail. Pigmentation is very good. A touch of sheerness on the first coat builds easily to wearable opacity with the second. Cleanup is easy. Electric Lime dries naturally in very good time to a smooth, shiny finish. Topcoat does not inhibit the holographic properties in any way.
Photos show two coats of Electric Lime (2017) over KBShimmer Love You Strong Time treatment and KBShimmer Fillin' Groovy basecoat with a topcoat of Seche Vite.

Wow, this is just what the doctor ordered for a rainy day in early spring! There's a radiance to this holo that is almost jewel-like on the nail, and the color is perfect for visualizing the bright greens of new spring leaves that are already beginning to appear around these parts. Really perks a body up!
love,
Liz
