Application was most agreeable! With the color's potential to stain in mind, I started with a double layer of basecoat. The consistency of It's Your Destiny is fluid, dense and smooth with a medium viscosity and a plush, velvety, self-leveling glide over the nail that has a tiny bit of pull to it. Pigmentation is outstanding. One coat delivers evenly opaque coverage and full bottle color, although I used two for this manicure like I always do. Cleanup is straightforward with a bit of pigment travel and trace staining, not unexpected and slightly less than I thought there would be given the intensity of the color. It's Your Destiny dries naturally in very good time to a smooth, shiny finish. Topcoat seems to slightly smooth the effervescent appearance of the polish, but does not otherwise effect its color-generating holographic properties.
Photos show two coats of It's Your Destiny over a double layer of basecoat with a topcoat of Seche Vite.

This is a stunning example of the kind of holo where the prismatic effects work within the color to create a rich, gradated tableau of analogous hues with a mobile flush of brightness along the axis of light that illuminates and dimensionalizes it on the nail. The effects are lush and utterly sumptuous, like silk velvet, and the color is rich and jewel-like. Nothing but win here!
Like all of Llarowe's POTMs, It's Your Destiny was only available for 24 hours on the first/second of the month, but you may be able to find it in the future at Harlowe & Co when they get it in. Definitely worth seeking out if you are a fan of holos like this!
love,
Liz
