Described simply as a teal linear holo, the color of Catch Me If You Can is bold and saturated, a beautiful medium-dark teal or dark cyan that to my eye leans slightly to green on the blue/green spectrum, with the finely-grained visual texture common to holographic polishes. Other holographic effects include a glorious cerulean heart and a plethora of rich, shimmering blue-green hues -- skobeloff, foresty pine, light sea green, verdigris, ming and more -- in ambient light that add to the sumptuous quality of the base color and dimensionalize it on the nail. In direct sun there's a brilliant, fully delineated prismatic flare featuring twin arcs of bright azure and sparkling spring green edged by a corona of mixed prismatic sparks that frames a lick of semi-metallic silvery pine green and shades to dark blue-green at the sidewalls of the nail.
Application was fabulous. The consistency of Catch Me If You Can is fluid and very smooth with a medium viscosity and a nearly effortless, silky, self-leveling glide over the nail that is a delight to finesse with Vapid's sleekly compact, flattened-style brush. Pigmentation is very good, delivering evenly opaque coverage and full bottle color in two coats. Cleanup is straightforward with a tiny bit of pigment travel but little to no residual staining. Catch Me If You Can dries naturally in very good time to a smooth, shiny finish. Topcoat does not inhibit the holographic effects in any way.

Like Mistrust from last week, this is another classic holographic color that no holo enthusiast should be without, here in Vapid's excellent, eminently-paintable formula. Very much a jewel-tone, it is clean and lush with a foresty vibe and responsive, athletic holographic effects. Wonderful!
love,
Liz
