Navigate Her is a pale pistachio green creme. It has a slightly muted aspect to it that gives it a soft, gentle, worn-smooth look. I love creamy greens and this is a particularly nice one. On the nail it has a wonderful mellow silky feel. Comfort polish!
This polish is nicely formulated, smooth, self-leveling and opaque in two coats if applied with an even hand. Of course my hand is anything but even as you certainly remember. Additionally, my initial go at this manicure was molested by nefarious dent gremlin youths as I slept. AND, out of nowhere a single orange glitter appeared, snugly ensconced, on one nail. *hiss* This manicure was trending toward one of those car wrecks of circumstance that remind me of another quote from Buckaroo Banzai...
Lord John Whorfin: "Sealed with a curse as sharp as a knife, doomed is your soul and damned is your life!"
Melodrama. Think of it as relief valve.
Photos show two to three coats of Navigate Her over my basecoat duo of Seche Rebuild and Butter London Nail Foundation with topcoats of either Seche Vite or Poshe, plus bonus free range solitary orange glitter lodged in left middle finger cuticle -- look at the enlargements if you don't believe me.

Sweet green though, no? Love this one.
Nail Junkie by Sinful Colors is a glitter jelly layering polish. What a great name!
Nail Junkie has a dark teal tinted transparent jelly base swimming with holographic green small hex glitters, tiny green square glitters and green microglitters. It's a mermaidian beauty, this one. I've seen it pictured online layered over darker greens, teals, navies and black to wonderful effect.
I had Navigate Her on a swatch wheel and on a whim I layered a coat of Nail Junkie over it and was totally enamored with the look of the result so I thought I'd try it as a full manicure. I told Fuzzy I was going to layer over Navigate Her when I showed it to her and she got all Mr. Bill on me. "Nooooooo!" Now she knows how I felt all those years she was painting and would bring one in for me to see then take it back out to her studio and bring it in later looking like a completely different painting. Revenge is sweet, sayeth the pot!
The layering plan worked out pretty well! The deep teal tinted base of Nail Junkie over the pistachio green of Navigate Her produced a lovely range of greens from celadon to tropical ocean with shaded effects from varying thickness in the layers of Nail Junkie. Next time I'll use just one coat of Nail Junkie so that more of Navigate Her's yellow green nuances show through. The glitters in Nail Junkie are simply gorgeous on the nail, I love them bunches.
Photos show two coats of Nail Junkie over the above Navigate Her manicure plus a coat of Seche Vite. As usual there is glitter all over the place -- a rather messy mani. Still pretty though!
