Application was quite congenial. The consistency of Puncak Jaya is creamy and dense with an unusual graininess to it from all the shimmers and flakies. It wants to go on in medium coats, but is easier to control and apply evenly with thin ones. Pigmentation is outstanding for a whitened color, with opacity entirely attainable in one medium coat without any streakiness or dragging. This is the sort of polish that self-levels as it sets and dries, not right away. Topcoat helps. Puncak Jaya dries naturally in good time to a shiny finish with the tiniest bit of texture to it from the components.
Photos show two coats of Puncak Jaya over treatment and basecoat with a topcoat of Seche Vite.

This is an artisinal quality polish on every level, from the formula to the composition to the colors to the finish. It has complete integrity. I love the way the it feels on the nail, not metaphorically either (although that's true also). Physically. It feels solid as a rock! Like I could go out and prune trees and pull weeds all day and come in with nothing but minor tip wear.
love,
Liz
