Application was similar to Dragonberry, which is to say: fabulous! The consistency of Coral of the Story is fluid, light and ultra creamy with a thin-to-medium consistency and a near-effortless silky self-leveling slip over the nail -- just a perfect, eminently paintable formula. Pigmentation is excellent, with aspirations to one-coat coverage and completely even opacity in two coats. Cleanup is fairly straightforward with a bit of pigment travel but very little residual staining. Coral of the Story dries naturally in very good time to an incredibly slick glossy finish. Topcoat does not inhibit the holographic properties of the polish in any way.
Photos show two coats of Coral of the Story over treatment and basecoat with a topcoat of Seche Vite.

There's a bit more orange to the look of this polish than my photos show -- it's a coral, after all, not a pink. I love how all the component colors of the coral are so clean and unmuddied!
Like its sister polish Dragonberry, Coral of the Story has a neon-like intensity in bright ambient light, exponentially escalated by the polish's sleek semi-metallic finish, which also doesn't show in the photos. Between the two, I feel like I'm set for brights for the summer! Except I need a nice bright blue holo.
Time to revisit the Dreamland shop for a bottle of Noelie's Himalayan Blue Poppy!

What is the opposite of buyer's regret? Whatever the term, I am having it! Like with its sister, Dragonberry, I am now kicking myself! This looks so fantastic on you - thank you for the wonderful photos!
ReplyDeleteYou are most welcome, my dear. This one is even brighter and more outrageous that Dragonberry, if that's possible -- a total showstealer. Hope you can get your hands on it at some point, but you know I will gift both of these to you if you can't find them elsewhere. Just let me know!
