Eleanor's Green and Purple Mani

This past weekend we had the delight of hosting my sister and her family, including Eleanor aka BEST NIECE EVER, for a quick overnight visit to attend a locally famous puppet theater. Immediately upon arrival Eleanor, precocious fashionista that she is, requested a manicure. She chose Zoya Malia and Essie Mojito Madness on alternating fingers to complement her top, which was purple with a stylized horse on the front rendered a la collage in small variously shaped flags of bright colors.

The creamy medium purple of Malia and the fresh bright green of Mojito Madness worked beautifully together and Eleanor was very pleased with how her choices turned out. We photographed her mani the next morning and I can proudly say that she is a NATURAL mani model.

We loved this manicure! After we took the pics, we ate bacon and watched "Four Weddings" on TLC. We were later graced with the presence of my nephew William, who, rousted from hibernation on the living room sofa by his father, transferred himself to an equally horizontal repose on chaise lounge upstairs. John smuggled my camera to me so I was able to surreptitiously memorialize the moment without provoking any of William's typical "no pictures" antics...

¡Que precioso! I should add that at this point they were intensely focused on a show about MAN EATING GIANT SQUID on Animal Planet, which allowed me to take this and several other photos undetected. And yes, I'm proud to say that's a swatch palette in Eleanor's hand.

It's always such a joy to spend time with my family....

love you guys,
Aunt Liz
