Chirality Asymptote

Asymptote from indie polish maker Chirality is a gorgeous medium pine green scattered holographic polish. It contains relatively large silvery holographic particles that produce a scattered prismatic blush in direct light and indirect, and give the polish a luscious speckled dimensional look in shade.

Chirality polishes are some of the best applying I've experienced and Asymptote is no exception. The consistency is fluid, creamy and dense but not overly thick. My bottle is an older one with a rather bushy brush but the polish still went on like butter. As is characteristic of this polish maker, pigmentation is excellent with complete opacity achieved in one medium coat, although I used two for the photos. Asymptote dries in very good time to a smooth and shiny finish.

Photos show two coats of Asymptote over treatment and basecoat with a topcoat of Seche Vite.

Chirality's scattered holos are SO photogenic. I don't think Asymptote knows how to take a bad picture. As beautiful as it looks in the photos, it is even better in person. The color has so much depth and richness it looks like silk velvet, just scrumptious.

I adore all of my small stash of Chirality polishes. If you'd like to see the others that I've swatched, here they are: Just Before Dawn, Apollonia and Katydid. I still need to swatch Kale, a dark yellow green scattered holo. That's one of your favorites, Eleanor!

love,
Aunt Liz

    1. Isn't it though! Amanda is a genius with the scattered holo, and she has the most delicious greens!
